“Facebook, that adds another layer”
Nat and I were talking about Facebook. He asked me if I discussed it with my boy. Discussed it as in…laying out the terms, the definition and just clarity on what actually feels most reassuring for the significant other. Guess I never had to consider this until things did start bothering me.
Most of my friend’s husbands don’t even have a Facebook. They find it rather trivial unless for the sake of keeping in touch with old friends in which their old friends actually are worth a phone call and their old friends know about their significant other/wife. Pretty obsolete.
I never thought about that lovely in between. The men who do have a Facebook. The men who do have a list of social friends that don’t know you. A past that pretty much involves those social friends…that don’t know you. I don’t have a straight answer but I do know it doesn’t feel good. I guess as most things that bother me, I pray. God hasn’t let me walk around like a fool he won’t let me now.
This is a situation that demands only blamelessness & integrity. Nat always makes sure motives are pure so that the other partner never feels insecure. We’ll see…some things need to be figured out by man seeking God. He’ll always demand the utmost and he’ll always test intentions.
It all comes down to integrity.
