God, you are so good to me.
Just remembered what passage you woke me up with today:
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
I’m in love with this Psalm. I love it. Its been kinda amazing that in the midst of craziness, You still speak to me Lord. That you give me passages the minute I wake up that will help me throughout my day. How beautiful is that? I often wonder how I could even begin to tell others how wonderful you are- as humans we will never fully understand such a love. All I know is, I need your love, I covet it and I ask for much more to get me through the tasks that await.
It feels like as if the days are all blurred, my sleep is shot, my energy is gone and my eyes are stinging but hey…I can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
