Wikipedia Encourages Boldness
Lately there’s been hype on the emerging church.
Are you an Emergent? Or are you an evangelist?
Perhaps in the good ol’ days there was simplicity? Or am I wishing for something that has never been? Last time I checked…I got saved and became a born-again christian solely because I realized there is only one Savior. That He loved me so much He died on the cross and saved me from my sins. Will I be ever so bold to speak what I believe? YES. WIll I be bold enough to even say that I might be standing alone? YES.
I looked up what Wikipedia had to say about the meaning of boldness and I will admit, whether you want to roll your eyes or not, I have decided to risk shame & possibly receive rejection, but its okay- it was my decision.

A friend called me the other day and told me that he was curious to know about God but had no desire if it came in religious form. Well, good thing my friend, Jesus prefers the real deal…not the stepford way. He actually wants unique relationships & conversations with us. It’s just that dope. I am sure timing has a huge role in it all…but dont waste time either. We live in a day and age where the world is sprinkled with “politically correct” forms of religion but one that doesn’t point out your sin and faults is not a legit one my dear. See…it’s like when you have been talking to your best friend for the last hour but she never told you that you had a lovely piece of pepper in your teeth or a “cloud in the sky.” Let’s be real- that’s janky. Be frank upfront…confront upfront…be bold upfront…lessens the chance of surprises.
Since I decided over 8 years ago that I would risk it all for Him….as time goes on….I pray that I only get bolder for His name.
