Tried&True

So I hung out with some lovely ladies this weekend. One that was turning 11. An adorable lady in the making…so here is a little snippet of how I struggled with the day but after all was said and done… I knew my friendship was tried and true.

We went horseback riding. Mine being DJ- a horse that I kicked the hell out of but he let me know that he wasn’t about to lug this rump around town at 10a in the morning…so let’s just say, no one was biddng on DJ since it was going about .5 miles per hr. A little secret: Asians just don’t ride horses…plain & simple.

Onto the next adventure…Medieval Times….wow, I had a serious reality check of what type of crowds Buena Park can bring in. People were in line, crowns on heads, flags in hands and all…it was like a red carpet event. I just took one glance over to my friend…and I tell ya- our friendship went to another level that day.

… I rode a horse named DJ that would not move past 2 feet in a span of 30 minutes and then I ended the evening with a yellow paper crown and sticky fingers from eating like a savage beast.

Miss Alexandria Melton-this weekend we took it to another level. Tried and true….   12 hours later together …. I got home and thanked the big G that I have her in my life…just 6.6 miles away…who would have thought the memories would have started here. This weekend set the standard of how Alex and I could have fun even if it meant getting our rumps sore and hanging out with Buena Park trash.
