ur so highschool…
i always compare things to highschool.
were you the cool kid?
the perfect girl with a perfect body, friends, boyfriend & grades?
were you captain of the cheerleading squad or football team?
still carrying your baby fat?
the over achiever?
perfectionist?
the morbid, super sarcastic, all-black-wearing kid?
i always think if you can divvy up all the typical groups that were in highschool. you could probably get through any random crowd with absolutely no surprises. finally there is someone that actually went sucessful with this hidden secret and now mentors top CEO’s and Execs…pretty impressive.
i recently added a Business Week Podcast to my list and i’m now addicted!
Business Week has these podcasts where they bring on a ton of experts in the business world and give you handy tips on how to work up the ladder. to my, not-so-surprise, i listened to thee best podcast that talks about how interacting with people all goes back to highschool.
if you know how to read people or you want to know how to read people…look into what groupings they would be located in back in highschool. its almost a 100% guaranteed that you will be able to learn their language and mannerisms and often time you will be able to predict their reactions too.
its all about social interaction. if you missed out in highschool, goodluck. if you didnt learn from highschool, goodluck and if you didnt get out of your comfort zone in highschool…again, goodluck.
